There are currently 13,000-14,000 Vietnamese people residing in the state of Hawaii. We look to bring together members of the community to build and strengthen to learn and support one another through culture, arts and social issues. The Lunar New Year Festival is one way in which we can achieve that. Last year the event was able to bring in about 1,000 attendees and 15 vendors and 50+ volunteers. We hope that this event is able to educate our community about issues that are affecting Vietnamese people both at home here in Hawaii and abroad in Vietnam.
This year we are able to provide to the community an event that has 20+ vendors more volunteers from across all communities. Please come join us at Kapiolani Park on February 10th (9am-9pm) and 11th (9am-4pm).
We are a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization based in San Diego, CA. Our goal is to promote and educate the community about Vietnamese culture, history and social issues.
